Accounts Administrator 

£20,000 – £25,000 a year

We have an opening for a reliable and dedicated Accounts Administrator to join the team in our lively, fun, vibrant office located in Morley.

The role of Accounts Administrator is ideally suited to an organised individual with a passion for accounts.

The successful candidate will report directly to a Director of the company, whilst working as part of a team supporting all aspects of accounting.

Our business is growing and needs a reliable and steady individual in the accounts department. We provide a relaxed and fun office environment with our family ethos at the heart of everything we do. Due to the rapid growth of our businesses and our increased workloads we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced and organised Accounts Administrator .

The key activities will include:

  • Managing and overseeing daily operations of the accounts department
  • Monitoring and analysing accounting data and producing financial reports using SAGE 50
  • Creating of applications for payment and production of invoices.
  • Dealing with supplier’s invoices and accounts related queries
  • Processing timesheets through the payroll system
  • Making payments to creditors and accepting payments from debtors
  • Processing purchase invoices and collating payment run’s
  • Insuring tax obligations are met included calculation of CIS, VAT, PAYE , NI and the payment of these taxes
  • Other payroll duties

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience of working in Accounts,
  • Resilience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to produce accurate reports in a timely manner
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Strong negotiation skills when liaising with clients/staff/suppliers.
  • Initiative, confidence and assertiveness
  • Ability to prioritise work load including ad-hoc jobs and remain diligent
  • Experience in using Sage (50)
  • High level of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
