What information do you need to organise a quotation for me?

We aim to turn your quotation around as quickly as we can. To help us do this there are a few points that can speed your quote up:

Minimum Requirements for Letters/Words:

  • Wording
  • Specific Font (If you don’t know, it’s quicker for you to guess than us)
  • Size (Overall size or cap height)
  • Colour
  • Material or effect you’re trying to achieve
  • Fixings (If you aren’t sure, let us know what it’s fixing to)

Additional requirements for Shapes or Complex Jobs:

  • Good Quality Image of the job (Jpeg)
  • Sizes (Or just the size of part of the job so we can scale it up)

Ideal Requirements for all jobs:

  • Vector Artwork (AI, editable PDF, EPS – We can open DXF, DWG, Corel files, but generally work in illustrator)
  • Change any fonts to outlines just in case we don’t have the font.
  • Size (So we can check the scale of the artwork – 10% is fine for vector artwork)
  • Materials

You can email your quote request to sales@thesigngroup.co.uk

How do I get the artwork to you?:

For any attachments over 5mb, we ask you send it to us via our file transfer link – Hightail (We can accept files up to 2gb at a time)

We use Credit Focus and Risk Disk, coupled with any job history with us to determine whether we can open a credit account and what the limit will be.

We require a minimum of 2 jobs paid upfront before any account will be live.

This is the information we need to process an application:

  • Full Company Name
  • Company Registration Number
  • Registered Address
  • Directors Names
  • Required Credit Limit

**If you are a non-limited company, we will require personal addresses for the directors/owners**

How long will my order take to arrive once it’s been confirmed?

For the majority of jobs we generally say you should receive your order within 1-2 weeks from confirmation.

However, depending on the type of job and the workload we have at the time, this may change.

We will be able to give you an idea of when your order will be dispatched when you confirm.

Can I trust you as a Trade Only supplier?

open close

We are suppliers to the sign trade only. Unlike some other ‘trade suppliers’, we only deal with sign companies, visual merchandisers, design agencies, shop-fitting companies and architects.

We don’t deal with the end user, therefore would never have any reason to speak with your client, and you can be certain you would never be quoting against us for the same work.

Only a handful of trade suppliers can say the same, and we’re proud to shout from the rooftops about it!
